Cinematography: Vijay C Kumar
Music: Shakthikanth Karthick

Written and Directed by: Sekhar Kammula
Release date: July 21, 2017
Sekhar Kammula, the director of classic hits such as "Anand" and "Happy Days", has returned to the genre of love stories after a long gap.
The recently released trailer and the soothing melodies coupled with Sai Pallavi's charm raised expectations on the film. Find out if Kammula has come back to form or not.

Fidaa Movie Story:

Varun (Varun Tej), a NRI, lands in rural village in Telangana to attend the wedding ceremony of his brother (Raja) and meets Bhanumathi (Sai Pallavi), the bride's sister. They get attracted to each other and start finding out about themselves.
Due to a misunderstanding, they part ways on a bad note. Though he likes her, she hates him for some incident.
Months later, Bhanumathi comes to USA to see her pregnant sister. Will they fall in love this time? Does the story end on happier note?

Artistes’ Performances:

Though it is a love story, it is the heroine who gets complete dominance. The story is more about Bhanumathi, played by Sai Pallavi, than Varun.
And in the role of Bhanumathi, debutante Sai Pallavi (who played the role of lecturer in Malayalam's Premam) steals the show. It is her show from the start to finish. She has terrific screen presence and her performance is quite believable. Quite impressive that she got the Telugu language with Telangana dialect so perfectly.
Sai Chand as heroine’s father and Sathyam Rajesh are good. Sharanya Pradeep as Sai Pallavi's sister and Raja have done decent job as well.

SRIDEVI LATEST MOVIE MOM REVIEW

Sride-Mom-movie-review

Rating: 2.5/5
Starring: Sridevi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Akshaye Khanna
Music Director: A.R.Rahman
Producer: Boney Kapoor, Sunil Manchanda
Director: Ravi Udyawar
Release date: July 7, 2017
Mom's trailers intrigued and kind of gave a sneak peek into what the film might be. Well, the story does feel predictable, as if we have known it all along.
But again, the director of the film Ravi Udyawar manages to give it a treatment that makes it watchable.

Story:

Arya (Sajal Ali), the 18 year old daughter of Devki played by Sridevi is raped and left to die by her classmate Mohit along with three others while she is on her way out of a Valentine’s Day party at a farmhouse.
Due to lack of evidence, all four are acquitted. How the biggest upheaval of their lives changes the life of the family makes for the rest of the film.

Artistes's Performances:

The film is a huge package of well-picked artistes and all of them put in their best to make the story enticing.
Sridevi who is the main protagonist of the film and plays the title role is of course the show-stealer. Goes without saying, she plays her part really well.
Her styling suits her character’s lifestyle and being a daughter of two teenage daughters herself, she brings forth the pain and love she has for her daughters and husband, in subdued, yet strong emotions.
She suits the part of the middle-aged teacher perfectly and carries it off with dignity. Later, when her character takes matters into hands, the director has refrained from turning her into a hysterical maniac. Instead, she is intense and that works really well for the film.
Sajal Ali is beautiful and another wonderful find from across the border. But one cannot help noticing that she is Pakistan’s Kareena Kapoor in the making. Incidentally, she also looks very much like Kareena, but does not stop her from adding her own dimension to the role of a teenager going through difficult teens.
Nawazuddin who has been playing a variety of character roles breaks the norm and plays a detective in Daryagunj, DK, who helps Sridevi. He, as usual, is his best.
Then there is Akshaye Khanna, Pakistan’s telly superstar Adnan Siddique who plays Sridevi’s husband and Abhimanyu Singh, all of whom put in good performances.

Technical Excellence:

A R Rahman provides music for the film and he has some soulful music that is soothing in keeping with the plot of the film. It is nothing loud and plays well at the right point in the storyline.
The cinematography is good as is the screenplay. But all credit goes to director Ravi Udyawar for making a film that takes you along the journey of Sridevi as she tries to cope with the anger and angst of her daughter being violated and abused.

Release date: August 11, 2017
Post "Baahubali 2", Rana's popularity has gone to new heights. Naturally, "Nene Raju Nene Mantri" has generated strong buzz as it is coming immediately after "Baahubali 2". Moreover, the trailers are stunning. Despite the fact that Teja has lost form long back, the terrific trailer has created good buzz.
Let's find out whether this Bhallaladeva impresses as Jogendra as well?

Story:

Radha Jogendra (Rana) narrates his story to police inspector as to why he is sentenced for hang until death by court.
He begins his journey in a small village in Rayalaseema. He leads life of a guy who lends money to villagers and lives happily with his wife Radha (Kajal). He can’t live without her and also rechristens his name as Radha Jogendra.
When his wife is insulted by local sarpanch and she has a miscarriage as she is pushed away by the sarpanch’s wife, Jogendra goes on a mission to become big political leader. He soon becomes the sarpanch, then MLA and finally a Minister. But his real aim is to become the Chief Minister.
Current Home Minister (Ashutosh Rana) and a journalist Devika Rani (Catherine) play spoilsport to his plan. What happens Then? Why does the court give him such punishment

Artistes’ Performances:

Rana has scored well in the role of Jogendra and has shown variations as meek financier, power-hungry politician and a husband who loves his wife immensely. His dialogue delivery is also nice. It is his show all the way.
Kajal as an anchor to Jogendra’s life has given her best performance. She also looks quite beautiful. In the scene with confrontation with Rana, her maturity in acting is visible.
Despite dated characterisation, Catherine as cigarette-smoking journalist makes an impression.
Ashutosh Rana impresses once again as a villain. Navadeep in a brief role and Tanikella as CM are good. Bittiri Satti makes some laughs.
Posani and Prabhas Seenu act in typical Teja’s style.

Technical Excellence:

The movie doesn't boast much technical values. Though some aerial shots of Rayalaseema terrain are quite beautiful, the overall cinematography is just functional.
Graphics are cheap. Editing in the first half is neat but goes topsy-turvy post-interval. Two songs composed by Anup are quite good. Dialogues are effective.

Paisa Vasool' Review

Movie: Paisa Vasool

 Bhavya Creations
Cast: Nandamuri Balakrishna, Shriya Saran, Muskaan, Kyra Dutt, Kabir Bedi, Ali, Prudhvi, Pavithra Lokesh, Vikram Jeeth and others
Music: Anup Rubens
Camera: Mukesh G
Editing: Junaid Siddiqui
Art Director: Venkat
Producer: Ananda Prasad V
Story, Screenplay, Dialogues and Direction: Puri Jagannadh
Release date: September 01, 2017
Nandamuri Balakrishna, who scored the biggest hit with his 100th film "Gauthamiputra Satakarani" has teamed up with  Puri Jagannadh, who comes from a totally different school of film-making.
Puri the irreverent film-maker and Balayya the mass star -- this unusual combination stirred interest thanks to its unintentionally funny, yet different trailer.
Let's find out the merits and demerits of Balakrishna's 101st movie...
Story:
Theda Singh (Nandamuri Balakrishna) comes to Hyderabad and picks up a lawyer’s house (Prudhvi) for his stay. Staying right opposite to the house is a girl called Harika (Muskaan) along with her mother. Her sister who goes to Portugal goes missing.
On the other hand, a RAW team is on the look out for someone who can take on and kill the mafia don (Vikramjeet). They find Theda Singh appropriate for their mission and he agrees to help them.
But the mafia don and his politician friend suspect that Theda Singh is not the simple guy he claims to be and believe he has a flashback. What is that? Who is he really?
Artistes’ Performances:
Nandamuri Balakrishna has effortlessly slipped into Puri’s style with the role of Theda Singh. While he gets to mouth a lot of punch dialogues as Theda Singh, his voice trembles a lot and it pretty hard to miss. The dialogues are not as powerful as they sounded in Balayya’s other movies due to this and one cannot help wondering if age is catching up with him.
Though not a challenging role, Balayya plays it perfectly to the galleries in trademark Puri style.
Shriya, for the most part, has a minor role that appears only in the second half and has one song.
Newcomer Muskaan Sethi has a good figure but lacks acting skills. And Kyra Dutt who plays a police officer’s role does an item song.
Senior Bollywood actor Kabir Bedi is neat. Vikramjeet as baddie makes an impression. Ali and Prudhvi get to play typical Puri’s comic roles but their comedy doesn’t generate laughs.
Technical Excellence:
Anup's music is aimed for mass audiences. “Mama Ek Pega Laa” is catchy. The remix song is forgettable. Two other songs also have good beats.
G Mukesh’s cinematography is eye-pleasing and locales of Europe (Portugal and other countries) are well captured. Venkat’s artwork is appealing. Junaid's editing could have been sharper in the second half.
The action scenes are stylish and they are full of dialogues in between fights. Production values are quite rich for this kind of masala movie.
Highlights:
Balakrishna's makeover
Drawback:
Too massy and loud
No logic and reason
Bad version of Pokiri

Producers: Vamsi - Pramod
Written and directed by: Maruthi
Release date: September 29, 2017
Director Maruthi has an image that he makes hilarious romantic comedies after the successes of "Prema Katha Chitram" and "Bhale Bhale Magadivoy".
On the other hand, Sharwanand has created an impression that he selects only different and decent subjects. So, their combination has created huge interest among the movie lovers.
The trailers and the brand name of UV Creations have further hyped it. Has the film lived up to expectations?
Story:
Anand (Sharwanand), a project manager in a company, suffers from OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). Meghana (Mehreen) joins his project and he immediately falls for her as she is also a neatness freak. When her father (Nasser) gets a stroke, he is reluctant to take him to hospital due to his OCD behaviour.
After this incident she doesn't want to see him again but her father is under impression that he was saved by Anand. Her father invites Anand to their village. Rest of the drama is about how he regains her love.
Artistes' Performances:
Sharwanand has done decent job as a guy obsessed with cleanliness and neatness. There is not much room for him to show his performance skills but he is at his natural best. His look is quite modern.
Heroine Mehreen is not good at all. She lacks glam appeal as well as acting skills. Among other actors, Bhadram and Vennela Kishore are effective.
Nasser's is a typical village father role. The movie has plenty of actors, none of them get registered.
Technical Excellence:
UV Creations, the production house is known for high-end production values and cool visuals. This one also has ultra cool cinematography by Nizar Shafi and art work is good too.
Thaman's music is quite catchy. Couple of songs are nice. Production values are first class. Editing is a minus as the film has a fluctuating graph in narration and has lengthy run time.

Movie lovers were excited to the core when the news came out that Mahesh Babu and A R Murugadoss have teamed up for a film. The combination generated a huge craze and the trailers further hyped the movie.
More than the trailers, Mahesh Babu’s confidence and his statements about the movie gave it good momentum. Amidst sky-high expectations, “Spyder” has hit the screens.
Let’s find out if Murugadoss delivered what the movie lovers and Mahesh Babu’s fans have been eagerly waiting to watch...
Story:
Shiva (Mahesh Babu) works in IB department’s surveillance department, he is not an officer but his aim is to nab criminals before they indulge in crimes. His nature of job is to spy on criminals and counter terrorist activities. He is quite effective in handling counter activities with his specially developed software.
A call leads him to a medical student (Rakul Preet Singh) who wants to go on a blind date with a guy. As their romantic track goes on, he comes to know about a serial killer Bhairavudu (S J Surya) who has been killing people since long time.
While searching for Bhairavudu, he gets in touch with his brother and then finally reaches Bhairavudu. But the ruthless serial killer plans bombing a hospital. How Shiva unfoils his mission?
Artistes’ Performances:
Mahesh Babu has played a cop many a time, but this role is quite different. He is neither a police officer, nor an IB agent, but works in Intelligence Bureau. This is completely novel for Telugu cinema. Like always, Mahesh Babu gives his best to the role and comes up with a stunning performance. In some scenes, Murugadoss has presented Mahesh in a completely unique manner.
Rakul hasn't much of a role other than being the regular female lead. She is okay.
The characterization of  the villain is quite different, one does not come across such villains in Indian cinema regularly. S J Surya as a guy who derives satisfaction from other’s death is terrific. He is ruthless and his menacing act is the highlight of the film.
As Mahesh Babu’s friend, Priyadarshi gets a meaty role and he is good. Bharath in a guest role has done commendable job.
Technical Excellence:
What is stunning in the film is its cinematography. Renowned cinematographer Santosh Sivan has filmed it in classy manner. His work is top class be it in action stunts or regular scenes or songs.
Songs by Harris Jayaraj are not that effective, but his background score is the highlight.
Art work, especially Mahesh Babu’s office, is good. The film has slow pace in the beginning but the editor has made the film racy in the crucial parts. Dialogues are okay. Film has high-end production values. VFX is very ordinary.

Presents: Dil Raju
Producer: Sirish
Written and directed by: Anil Ravipudi
Release date: October eighteen, 2017

Ravi Teja returning to silver screen when a niche of 2 years and enjoying the a part of a visually handicapped person has created enough publicity around “Raja The Great”. additional to the current, the film is directed by Anil Ravipudi WHO has given 2 hits earlier and is created by Dil Raju.

Expectedly “Raja The Great” has hit the screens amidst nice buzz. Let’s determine its deserves and demerits.

Story:

Raja aka Raja the nice (Ravi Teja), WHO is blind, lives together with his mother Ananthalakshmi (Radhika) WHO could be a head constable. Her ambition is to create him a peace officer. Her officer agrees to require this blind guy on a mission once she provides a bag of pootharekulu.

Now Raja is distributed to avoid wasting the lady Lucky (Mehreen) whose father, a peace officer, was killed by a rowdy leader Devaraju(Vivan).

The rowdy leader's next target is to kill Lucky WHO is concealing in Darjeeling. however Raja saves her together with his tricks is that the remainder of the drama.

Artistes’ Performances:

Ravi Teja as a man with no seeing has given a decent performance. except for the very fact that he's blind, the role isn't the least bit passive. he's as energetic as he was in his past movies. we have a tendency to see the energetic facet of Ravi Teja even during this role. Radhika as his mother is sweet.

Mehreen appearance higher here compared to her recent picture show ‘Mahanubhavudu’. Her acting tho' is dangerous.

The comedy track on actors like Rajendra Prasad and Prudhvi is archaic. Srinivasa Reddy and Sampath have given their best. Posani, Prudhvi, Sathyam Rajesh and different comedians have done some silly comedy episodes.

Ravi Teja’s son master Mahadhan seems within the childhood parts of Ravi Teja. he's promising.

Vivan plays the most villain has come back up with an efficient act despite poorly-written characterisation.

Technical Excellence:

Mohana Krishna’s photography is made. He has captured the luxurious inexperienced lovely locations of Darjeeling superbly. Sai Kartheek’s music could be a let-down. Dialogues ar thus

passé. The film features a run time of 149 minutes, that is relatively short for a mass picture show. However, the last half is long. piece of writing ought to are crispier here. Dil Raju's production values ar smart.

Highlights:

Ravi Teja’s act
Commercial parts

Drawback:

Routine story and regular book
Loud acting
Illogical things
Boring climax sequences

Analysis:

Kamal Haasan did the role of a blind person in ‘Amavasya Chandrudu’ and R P Patnaik did an identical role in ‘Seenu Vasanthi Lakshmi’ and last Mohanlal appeared as a blind person in a very Malayalam picture show referred to as ‘Oppam’ (‘Kanupapa’ in Telugu). however this is often the primary time that a Telugu hero with a mass image has contend such a task.

Ravi Teja agreeing to play the role of a visually handicapped person itself is considerable and brings novelty to the current otherwise routine and foreseeable mass drama.

For some Telugu administrators like Anil Ravipudi, the planet of mass heroes is same whether or not the hero has sight or not.

The hero must bash up all goons, dress well, walk firmly, and cherish every kind of illogical acts even supposing he's born blind.

In the picture show, Ravi Teja is blind however he's trained by his mother to act sort of a regular guy. supported this logic, the director has weaved the foremost illogical book.

The director takes the audience with a pinch of salt and needs US to believe that a Commissioner of Police assigns the work to a visually handicapped person once his mother bribes him with a pootharekulu butta!

In the end, the hero chases villains by attachment bells to their automobile. He follows them by hearing the sound of bells, motion by bus and being on high of a train for several kilometres.

One could raise why ought to one rummage around for logic in masala entertainers, however once you create a movie with a blind protagonist, should not the manufacturers maintain minimum logic?

Logic aside, the story and narration is additionally quite foreseeable. The story is extremely simple: a woman is being afraid by a rowdy and hero must save her. This line is as recent because the hills and therefore the book is simply too unoriginal.

As if the director thought hero being blind is enough for novelty component, he makes the story in a very foreseeable manner.

Though Ravi Teja is kind of effective and energetic in his acting, the comedy is thus clichéd. The alleged "Uu Uu...it is happy time" mannerism is additionally irritating.

The first 1/2 the picture show is okay and makes time pass viewing however the film turns dreary once the story moves to the house of Posani and gang. The comedy track recorded there's thus boring.

And the film has 2 or 3 climax sequences. As we have a tendency to ar close to leave the theatre thinking it's all over, the picture show continues once more with a song and a fight.

All in all, director Anil Ravipudi has concave out another guide masala picture show with the only novelty of the protagonist being blind. the primary [*fr1] has time pass parts and Ravi Teja is amusing however it winds up as quite foreseeable fare.

Artistes’ Performances:
Ram has appeared in 2 totally different reminder characterization that he has done with ease. He has done such roles within the past, therefore he has given good performance here. The beard look doesn’t suit him well although.

Sree Vishnu has meaty role and he shines during this role. Anupama Parameshwaran steals the show. even supposing she seems in half solely, she holds the flick together with her cute expressions and sensible performance. The film belongs to her.

Lavanya gets another dangerous role. Priyadarshi's jokes as alcohol-loving friend square measure fun. Kireet et al. square measure okay.

Technical Excellence:
Sameer Reddy’s work could be a major quality in terms of filming. He has picturised acquainted locations in several manner.

Devi Sri Prasad’s music isn't as infectious as in Kishore Tirumala’s flick “Nenu Sailaja”. withal, the songs square measure a serious and purpose. The film is just too long and it wants imperative trimming. Production values square measure good.
